Pregnancy highlights the body’s remarkable capacity for adaptation, bringing profound physical, emotional, and hormonal changes. Registered Massage Therapy supports individuals through these transitions by addressing common concerns such as muscular tension, postural strain, joint discomfort, swelling, and stress.

Postpartum massage focuses on recovery and the body’s return to balance. Treatments may include cesarean scar work, therapeutic breast massage to support lactation or relieve discomfort, and soft tissue care for areas affected by carrying and caring for an infant. Massage can also assist with tissue healing, restoring alignment, reducing pain, and easing the physical and emotional demands of the postpartum period.

These sessions are tailored to the needs of each stage, promoting comfort, recovery, and overall wellness throughout the prenatal and postpartum journey.

Jessica has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2019, after completing her program at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. Based in Langley, she is excited to open her new private practice, Synapse Massage and Wellness.

Jessica views massage as a way to connect with the nervous system to promote healing and wellness. She provides care to individuals across various life stages, including pregnancy, postpartum, chronic pain, soft tissue injuries, anxiety, depression, and general tension.

Using a biopsychosocial approach, Jessica provides patient-centered care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. With a passion for anatomy and the body’s resilience, she delivers an evidence-based, holistic, and inclusive approach, collaborating with patients to support their overall well-being.
